Heartland Dachshunds of Southern Illinois is family owned and operated. We are AKC inspected and approved. We are licensed through the state of Illinois. We specialize in and breed dachshunds only. We breed all three coats with a variety of color and pattern. Our dachshunds are of the miniature variety although some may go a little over the 11 pounds set by the American Kennel Club.
We are located in Southern Illinois and are not a kennel. We just have one select breed that we enjoy raising in our home and have done so for several years. We love to attend dog shows and on occasion we compete.All of our puppies are AKC registered, checked by our vet and are up to date on their vaccinations when they leave. Our family takes great pride in making sure that our puppies are excellent companions.

And when it is time to relax, they do so in the comfort of the climate controlled “Doxie World”. Our crew consists of long hair and wirehaired dachshunds in the following colors, english cream, black and cream, black and tan, blue & tan, chocolate and tan, wild boar and red.

We specialize in the breed of miniature dachshunds, but we also sell tiny yorkshire terriers, and occasionally designer breeds. The unique qualities, personalities and markings of the puppies are outstanding!Our goal is to match quality pets with loving families!
We are located in Gilbertsville, Kentucky, which is conveniently located to many areas.We have been raising Dachshunds for the past 11 years. All puppies are born and raised in our house, and are given lots of attention and daily handling. All puppies are dewormed 2-3 times, and are given all age appropriate vaccinations before leaving our house.
