We are a small in home breeder of purebred dachshunds in Western Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough to be introduced to the breed in 2000 and absolutely fell in love. We lovingly breed smooth and long coat dachshunds in all patterns and colors, except dilutes, for pet homes and reputable breeder/ show homes. We are very proud of each and every litter that we produce. Our ultimate goals as a breeder are to produce healthy dachshund puppies that follow the breed standard and to see the happy smiles on our puppy family’s faces when they meet their new family member. All of our dogs and puppies are fed a 5 star dog food and are given fresh fruits and veggies daily. We also give them Virbac dental chews to keep their teeth clean. All of our dogs are always up-to-date on their shots, flea and heartworm medication. We strive to make sure all of our adults are healthy and happy to help ensure their puppies are healthy.
We are an IN HOME breeder, and have owned Doxies since 97′ and have been breeding since 08′. Our dogs are fed a grain free diet and are given fresh fruits and veggies daily. ll of our adults are kept up on all shots, heart worm prevention and wormings. We want all of our moms and dads to be as healthy as possible so they can provide you with healthy and outstanding star pups to add to your family and wonderful and healthy pets for ours!
Welcome to Cook’s Wieners! Located in the mountains of Dunbar, Pennsylvania. My Name is Alice Cook. My husband and I have raised puppies for nearly 30 years. My love for animals in general has been a passion of mine since childhood. I have raised all different types of animals including orphaned abandoned wildlife and horses. Nothing goes hungry or left out in the cold! When I fell for the Dachshund breed a brand new passion began. As a breeder of Dachshunds, throughout the years I have watched this breed evolve from the standard size down to the miniatures we see today. I have seen new colors and patterns come about. My goal as a breeder is to raise the Dachshund puppies with early as possible socialization. Socialization is key to a dog with a good temperament.
Mom’s Dachshunds raises beautiful AKC and CKC miniature dachshunds. We raise long and short hair puppies. We breed for health and temperament. Our puppies are raised in our home with TLC, kids and other pets for well socialized happy puppies. We vaccinate and worm the puppies before they go to their new homes at 9 weeks old. Our puppies are vet checked and we have a 2 year genetic health guarantee.
Over the years our one dog has slowly multiplied to ten, sometimes more. We raise them inside with lots of love and affection. They are our family, great watch dogs, love attention, socialize with our grandchildren and are very loyal to their owners.We like the potential buyers to come to our home and interact with the puppies. We want the new owner and puppy to have a great life together.
